Dr. John Belcher was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida. He graduated from the University of Florida. He then graduated from dental school at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.

For 3 years, he served with the Army Dental Corp. in Germany. He has been in private practice for 30 years. Dr. Belcher is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American General Dentistry, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, and the Hillsborough Dental Association.
